STAFF UX PRODUCT DESIGNER

Job Description

NinjaTrader is looking for an experienced product designer to improve user experiences across its trading platform. You will lead design initiatives, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and help deliver intuitive experiences for new and experienced traders.

Responsibilities

• • Lead design for a product area and improve customer experiences.
• • Own the end-to-end design process.
• • Collaborate with product management and engineering.
• • Improve visual design, interaction design, usability, and design consistency.
• • Contribute to the evolution of the design system.
• • Mentor designers and participate in design critiques.
• • Present design decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• • Support product growth through intuitive, customer-focused experiences.

Requirements

• • 7+ years of product design experience.
• • Strong portfolio in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
• • Experience with user research, journey mapping, and personas.
• • Proficiency in Figma and modern design and research tools.
• • Experience contributing to design systems.
• • Excellent communication, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.
• • Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• • Experience in futures trading, financial markets, or investment platforms is a plus.
